Limited stage grade 3 follicular lymphoma patients can experience favorable outcomes with combined modality therapy.

Résumé

Controversy exists regarding the optimal management of limited stage grade 3 follicular lymphoma (FL3). We assessed the treatment outcomes of 190 consecutive patients with stage I-II FL. Fifty two patients had FL3 disease, in whom the median age was 55 years. At a median follow-up of 65 months, 5-year progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) rates were 76.6% and 87.6%, respectively.
