There are numerous epidemiological and experimental evidences to suggest that Ascaris lumbricoides infection is a neglected risk factor for development of asthma. For this purpose, we conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis for better understanding of this relationship. Systematic searching (PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science and Google Scholar) was done, up to September 30, 2019 to identify the relevant studies.
