The existing information supports the use of this material as described in this safety assessment. 2-Acetylthiazole was evaluated for genotoxicity, repeated dose toxicity, reproductive toxicity, local respiratory toxicity, phototoxicity/photoallergenicity, skin sensitization, and environmental safety.
