Antiplatelet and anticoagulation agents are increasingly prescribed for secondary prophylaxis in patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. These drugs are associated with an increased risk of gastrointestinal bleeding, including peptic ulcer bleeding. It is difficult to decide when to restart the agents after peptic ulcer bleeding in these patients because the risk of rebleeding and thromboembolism should be balanced. The Korean College of
