Résumé

In the quest for finding new strategies to enhance tissue integration and to reduce the risk of bacterial colonization around endosseous implants, we report the application of auto-oxidative phenolic coatings made of tannic acid and pyrogallol to titanium surfaces. The functionalized surfaces were screened for their biological performance using cultures of primary human osteoblasts and biofilm-forming bioluminescent staphylococci
