Raloxifene hydrochloride (RLX), an antiosteoporotic agent, has been utilized for guarding against breast cancer and recently, for the disease management owing to its estrogen antagonist activity. Nevertheless, RLX exhibits poor bioavailability that could be attributed to reduced water solubility and first pass metabolism.
