Retraction: "AT1R knockdown confers cardioprotection against sepsis-induced myocardial injury by inhibiting the MAPK signaling pathway in rats," by Tao Zhang, Yu-Chao Yin, Xiang Ji, Bo Zhang, Sheng Wu, Xiao-Zhe Wu, Hong Li, Ya-Dan Li, Ya-Ling Ma, Yu Wang, Hai-Tao Li, Bin Zhang, Di Wu, J Cell Biochem. 2020; 25-42: The above article, published online on 21 August 2019 in Wiley Online Library (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1002/jcb.27445), has been retracted by agreement between the journal's Editor in Chief, Prof. Dr. Christian Behl, and Wiley Periodicals LLC. The retraction has been agreed following an investigation based on allegations raised by a third party. Several flaws and inconsistencies between results presented and experimental methods described were found. Thus, the editors consider the conclusions of this article to be invalid.
