Résumé

Chills and signs of systemic infection caused a patient's hospitalization. Reason for his productive cough and hemoptysis was apparently lobar pneumonia-until an unexpected result of blood cultures rendered further diagnostics necessary in this pacemaker patient. Schüttelfrost und systemische Infektzeichen führen einen Patienten ins Krankenhaus. Ursächlich für seinen produktiven Husten und Hämoptysen ist bei dem Raucher eine Lobärpneumonie. Ein unerwarteter Befund in der Blutkultur macht eine weitere Diagnostik bei dem Schrittmacherträger umgehend erforderlich.
