The formulation of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) in amorphous solid dispersions (ASDs) is a promising approach to improve the bioavailability of poorly soluble compounds. However, problems often arise in the production of tablets from ASDs regarding the compressibility and recrystallization of the API.
