Oxidative stress from high levels of intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) has been linked to various bone diseases. Previous studies indicate that mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) secrete bioactive factors (conditioned medium (MSC-CM)) that have antioxidant effects.
