Résumé

Induction of fetal hemoglobin (HbF) ameliorates the clinical severity of β-thalassemias. Histone methyltransferase LSD1 enzyme removes methyl groups from the activating chromatin mark histone 3 lysine 4 at silenced genes, including the γ-globin genes.
