Neuromorphic visual systems emulating biological retina functionalities have enormous potential for in-sensor computing, with prospects of making artificial intelligence ubiquitous. Conventionally, visual information is captured by an image sensor, stored by memory units, and eventually processed by the machine learning algorithm.
