Résumé

Several aspects of diabetes pathophysiology and complications result from hyperglycemia-induced alterations in the structure and function of plasma proteins. Furthermore, insulin has a significant influence on protein metabolism by affecting both the synthesis and degradation of proteins in various tissues.
