Fistulas arising between ureters and iliac arteries (UAF) are rare pathological events and frequently require emergency treatment, as they are associated with massive haematuria and haemorrhagic shock. The medical history plays a key role in the diagnostic and therapeutic process, as it allows to include UAF among the differential diagnoses of gross haematuria.
