Résumé

Background The Virtual Arthroplasty Follow-Up (VARF) Quality Improvement Project was initiated in March 2020 with the aim of improving patient experience while reducing costs to the trust, the patient, and the planet. Methodology This retrospective study was conducted in a district general hospital. Patients were assessed based on their Oxford Hip Score (OHS), University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) activity score, and an X-ray. A patient satisfaction survey was undertaken via phone call using a 10-point questionnaire. These responses were then correlated to age, distance travelled, and OHS/UCLA scores.
