Résumé

The phase III MPACT trial demonstrated the superiority of gemcitabine plus nab-paclitaxel (NABGEM) versus gemcitabine alone in previously untreated patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer (mPC). The aim of this study was to evaluate the responses in terms of efficacy and safety in patients treated with more than 6 cycles of chemotherapy. From January 2015 to December 2018, patients with mPC receiving first-line treatment with NABGEM were included in a multicentre retrospective observational study. Exploratory analyses of efficacy and safety were performed. The cohort included 153 patients with performance status of 1. The median overall survival and progression-free survival were 20 months (hazard ratio [HR] 0.28, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.17-0.44) and 10 months (HR 0.24 95% CI: 0.16-0.38) respectively, in patients who received >6 cycles compared to 9 and 5 months in those treated with ≤6 cycles (
