Résumé

Tigecycline (TIG) is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that has been approved for the treatment of a number of complicated infections, including community-acquired bacterial pneumonia. Currently it is available only as an intravenous injection that undergoes rapid chemical degradation and limits the use to in-patient scenarios. The use of TIG as an inhaled dry powder inhaler may offer a promising treatment option for patients with multidrug-resistant respiratory tract infections, such as
