Résumé

Lateral canals are small branches from the main root canal, usually extending from the dentin and cementum into the periodontal ligament, mostly located at the lower 1/3 of the apical portion. Due to the complex and varied anatomical morphology as well as the high incidence, it becomes an important factor affecting the effect of root canal therapy and a difficult point in this process. It is of great clinical significance to master the treatment strategy of lateral canals during root canal therapy. This article reviews the anatomical characteristics of lateral canals, as well as the clinical identification, treatment strategy and the laboratory detection methods of lateral canals in the process of root canal preparation, disinfection, and obturation. 侧支根管是由主根管发出,贯通牙本质和牙骨质延伸到牙周膜的细小分支,多发生在根尖1/3。因其复杂多变的解剖形态及较高的发生率,侧支根管常成为影响根管治疗效果的重要因素,也是根管治疗过程中的难点。因此,掌握根管治疗过程中侧支根管的处理策略具有重要的临床意义。本文就侧支根管的解剖特点以及在根管预备、根管消毒、根管充填过程中侧支根管的临床识别、处理方法和实验室检测方法等做一综述。.
