Résumé

Objective The daily step count is associated with mortality in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). However, the factors associated with this phenomenon are not yet fully understood. We therefore clarified its association with clinical parameters. Methods Fifty-nine patients with IPF with available data for daily step counts; 6-minute walk distance (6MWD); chest, abdominal, and pelvic computed tomography (CT); pulmonary function; psychological evaluations; and sarcopenia assessments were prospectively enrolled.
