An interventional study was conducted in real-life through a humanitarian event led by the Red Crescent on 9 January 2022, in Hammam-Sousse (Sousse, Tunisia). The study comprised four steps: Fifty-two smokers were included (94% were males). Three months after the event, Informing smokers of their SLA led 92% of them to cease smoking or reduce their consumption. Announcing SLA could be an effective motivational tool and an easy-to-understand concept to help smokers cease their habit.
