Measurement-based care (MBC) comprises collecting patient-reported outcomes data using validated assessments and using that information to support treatment. The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) has developed technology platforms to support MBC, including the Mental Health Checkup (MHC) mobile health application (app). Our objective was to examine VHA mental health provider perspectives on the MHC app. We completed a mixed-methods, sequential explanatory evaluation of MHC.
