The aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AHR) is a versatile ligand-dependent transcription factor involved in diverse biological processes, from metabolic adaptations to immune system regulation. Recognising its pivotal role in cancer immunology, AHR has become a promising target for cancer therapy.
