Unlike second-generation tyrosine kinase inhibitors, effects of imatinib on the cardiovascular (CV) system are debatable. The current case-control study aimed to evaluate the CV effects of imatinib in patients with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) using non-invasive 2D-echocardiography testing.
