Résumé

Microphthalmos, also called microphthalmia, is a rare developmental disorder of the eye that can be caused by genetic or chromosomal abnormalities or environmental factors. The spectrum of clinical presentation includes nanophthalmia and posterior microphthalmia. It affects approximately one in 1,000 individuals, although there is insufficient literature regarding the clinical and different imaging modalities findings.
