Since neurotensin (NT) receptors of subtype-1 (NTS1) are expressed by different types of malignant tumors, such as pancreatic adenocarcinoma, colorectal and prostate carcinoma, they represent an interesting target for tumor imaging by positron emission tomography (PET) and endoradiotherapy.
