Résumé

The article highlights the impact of physician's touch on the patient's psyche and healing process and more importantly, vice-versa. Not infrequently, this 'small' aspect is overlooked by the physicians but on deeper analysis, this 'small' gesture has profound impact on the patients as well as the physicians.
