Objective To investigate the effect of lysine-specific demethylase 3A (KDM3A) on the invasion and migration of MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells. Methods The mRNA and the protein expressions of KDM3A in MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells and MCF-10A normal breast cells were detected by real-time quantitative PCR and Western blotting, respectively; the KDM3A level of MDA-MB-231 cells was knocked down by lentivirus infection of KDM3A short hairpin RNA (shKDM3A).
