Résumé

Neutrophil extracellular traps increase cystic fibrosis (CF) airway inflammation. We hypothesized that macrophage exposure to neutrophil elastase (NE) would trigger the release of macrophage extracellular traps (METs), a novel mechanism to augment NE-induced airway inflammation in CF.
