Fluoxapiprolin, a novel piperidinyl thiazole isoxazoline fungicide, was developed by Bayer Crop Science in 2012. Despite its well-documented inhibitory activity against plant pathogenic oomycetes such as Phytophthora capsici and Phytophthora infestans, limited information regarding its antifungal spectrum and protective and curative activity is available.
