Résumé

A new heterotrophic, aerobic alphaproteobacterium, designated strain SH36 (=DSM 23330=LMG 25292), was obtained from a seawater sample collected in the open North Sea during a phytoplankton bloom. Analysis of the 16S rRNA gene sequence revealed affiliation of strain SH36 to the species
